The Uppsala University takes its ceremonies seriously. Twice a year there are ceremonies for those who have recently attained their doctoral degrees. Salutes are fired with cannons and speeches are given in Latin. Yesterday a happy professor got to see one of his former doctoral students being presented with the doctoral hat and diploma, and celebrate together with him at a Banquet held at the Uppsala Castle. Congratulations again to Daniel!
