Book contract signed
I have signed a contract for a new book. The provisional title is “Studies in the Second Letter of Clement”. It’s a collection of articles and essays written in preparation for the commentary on Second Clement.
Conference: “Healing and Exorcism in Second Temple Judaism and Early Christianity.”
On March 8-9 I participated in a conference arranged by the Örebro School of Theology. A summary of the conference can be found here: Conference Summary. The papers will be published in a volume in WUNT, edited by Mikael Tellbe, Tommy Wasserman, and Ludvig Svensson.
Christmas Morning Trumpet
I was happy to have the opportunity to bring my trumpet to the Christmas Morning Service in Kila church, a rural church in the region of Värmland, this year. My father in law led the service, and my wife had the opportunity to join in with the local church choir for the occation.
PhD Bim Berglund O’Reilly
Today I am proud of my doctoral student Bim Berglund O’Reilly who successfully defended her dissertation on Baptism and Death: A Study of Mark and Romans.
